Vargas began his career in the private sector, gaining valuable experience as an office staffer at Citizens Bank Corporation. His interest in public policy and governance led him to serve at the Rhode Island State Senate, where he further honed his skills in legislative processes and constituent services. Alongside his public service, Vargas is an entrepreneur, owning a jewelry shop, which demonstrates his business acumen. Currently, he serves as the Councilmember for Ward 15 in Providence City, where he is committed to addressing community needs and enhancing local governance.
