Olivia Diaz is an accomplished American politician and educator known for her dedication to public service and education. A member of the Democratic Party, she has served in various capacities, making significant contributions to her community. Diaz began her political career as a member of the Nevada Assembly, representing District 11 from 2011 to 2018. During her tenure, she was an active member of the National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators, advocating for issues affecting her constituents. Since 2019, she has served as a Las Vegas City Council member, representing Ward 3. A committed educator, Diaz has worked as an English Language Learner Specialist at C.C. Ronnow Elementary School. She holds a Bachelor's in English from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Master's in Bilingual Education from NOVA Southeastern University.
