Mike Rogers, born in 1963, is an American politician and former law enforcement officer. A member of the Republican Party, Rogers served as the U.S. Representative for Michigan's 8th congressional district from 2001 to 2015. During his tenure, he chaired the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence from 2011 to 2015. Before his congressional service, Rogers was a member of the Michigan State Senate from 1995 to 2001 and worked as an FBI agent from 1989 to 1994. He holds a high school diploma from Hillcrest High School. Rogers has also been associated with the military, having served as a Colonel in the United States Army, and has been involved in state politics as a delegate for Maryland's State House of Delegates.
