Marsha Blackburn is an American politician and business executive serving as the senior United States Senator from Tennessee since 2019. Born as Mary Marsha Blackburn, she is a member of the Republican Party and is known for her conservative stance. Blackburn's political career began as a member of the Tennessee State Senate from 1999 to 2003. She subsequently served as the U.S. Representative for Tennessee's 7th congressional district from 2003 to 2019.
