Liz Alpert is a distinguished public figure with a strong background in law and public service. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University. Alpert is also a member of the Florida Bar Association. Her career has been marked by a commitment to the community, demonstrated through her roles as a small business owner and as an influential figure in Sarasota's local government. She served as the Mayor of Sarasota and also as a Commissioner for District 2 on the Sarasota City Commission. Alpert’s extensive experience in law and her leadership positions within the city highlight her dedication to public service and community development.
