Laura Capps is an accomplished public figure with a diverse background in communications and public service. She holds a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of California, Berkeley, and graduated from Santa Barbara High School. Laura has played significant roles in various influential organizations and governmental bodies. She served as a speechwriter at The White House and as an assistant to George Stephanopoulos. Her expertise in communications was further honed as Senator Edward M. Kennedy's Communications Director in the United States Senate. She has also held leadership roles as the Communications Director at the Alliance for Climate Protection and as the Senior Vice President for Communications and Government Affairs at Ocean Conservancy. Additionally, Laura is the founder of Mission Partners and a principal at Blue Engine Message and Media.
