Kurtis Purtee is a dedicated public servant with a strong background in law enforcement and local government. He holds a Master's in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Administration from Georgia Southern University, a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice Administration from Mountain State University, and an Associate's in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Administration from Alpena Community College. Purtee has held several positions in law enforcement, including Police Officer at Tawas Police Authority, Deputy Sheriff at Alcona County Sheriff's Office, Patrol Sergeant at Garden City Police Department, and Police Lieutenant at Armstrong State University. He also served as Police Captain of Support Services at Georgia Southern University. In the realm of public service, he is a Councilmember for District 6 in Savannah and Vice President of Business Development at Clarity Consulting Group, LLC.
