Kelly O'Dwyer is an Australian former politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Higgins from 2009 to 2019. During her tenure, she held various ministerial roles within the Liberal Party, featuring prominently as the Minister for Revenue and Financial Services, Minister for Women, and Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the Public Service. Prior to her political career, she worked as a solicitor and investment banking executive. Notably, O'Dwyer was the first woman to hold a Federal portfolio from her seat of Higgins, and the second woman to represent the seat in its history. Off the political stage, she is also known for her advocacy for gender equality.
