Justin Slaughter is a dedicated public servant with a strong educational and professional background in public policy and administration. He earned a Master's in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Chicago. Justin has held several significant roles throughout his career, demonstrating his commitment to public service and governance. He currently serves as the State Representative for the 27th District in the Illinois House of Representatives. Previously, he worked as a Project Assistant at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, a Policy Advisor for Governor Pat Quinn, and the District Director for Illinois State Senator Kwame Raoul. Additionally, he has experience as the Deputy Director at the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice and as a Legislative Coordinator at Cook County.
