Jon Ossoff, born in 1987, is an American politician and filmmaker currently serving as the senior United States senator from Georgia, a position he has held since 2021. A member of the Democratic Party, Ossoff's career spans across politics, film production, and investigative journalism. Prior to his tenure in the Senate, he was a documentary filmmaker and the CEO of Insight TWI, a media production company specializing in investigative journalism. Ossoff began his career in public service as a National Security Aide to Georgia Congressman Hank Johnson. Academically, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Master's degree from the London School of Economics. He is a graduate of the Paideia School in Atlanta.
