John Douglas Lively is a seasoned American politician affiliated with the Democratic Party, serving as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives for District 12 since January 14, 2013. Lively has a rich history in public service, having served as the Mayor of Springfield, Oregon, and a member of its city council from 1977 to 1986. His academic journey began at Thurston High School, after which he earned an Associate's degree from Lane Community College and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Oregon.
