John Joseph Corbett Jr. is an American actor and country music singer renowned for his versatile performances on both television and film. Born on May 9, 1961, in Wheeling, West Virginia, Corbett gained prominence for his role as Chris Stevens in the TV series "Northern Exposure" (1990–1995). He further solidified his television fame as Aidan Shaw on "Sex and the City" (2000–2003) and later appeared as Max Gregson on "United States of Tara" (2009–2011) and Seth Holt on "Parenthood" (2011–2015).
