Jerry Evans is a dedicated public servant with a strong background in public administration and criminal justice. He holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Drake University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from the University of Northern Iowa, after graduating from Southeast Polk High School. Evans has served in significant roles throughout his career, including as the CJCC Coordinator at Polk County and the Executive Director at the 5th Judicial District Department of Corrections. He also worked as a Supervising U.S. Probation Officer in the Southern District of Iowa. In addition to his professional roles, Evans has been an active member of his community, serving as a councilmember for the city of Pleasant Hill.
