Jennifer Borcherding is an elected official serving on the Cedar Rapids Community School District Board of Education, representing District 3. First elected in 2017, she was re-elected in 2021, with her present term expiring in 2025. Jennifer holds a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in English from DePaul University. Besides her role on the school board, Jennifer is the Owner/CEO of Jennifer Borcherding Consulting. She also has a history of community involvement, including serving as Director for District 6b of the Iowa Association of School Boards and being a member of the YMCA Camp Wapsie Advisory Committee and United Way of East Central Iowa, Women United. In December 2024, she was named the new Executive Director of The District Czech Village and New Bohemia. She previously served as Vice-President of the CRCSD Board of Education.
