Jacob Ladner is an American politician serving as the City Council President for Decatur, Alabama, representing District 5. He was elected to the council in 2020 and is currently serving his first term. A graduate of Decatur Heritage Christian Academy, Ladner earned a Bachelor of Science in History from the University of North Alabama in 2010. He began his career at Interstate Billing Service in 2010, where he advanced to the position of Vice President of Sales and Client Experience, contributing to the company's growth to nearly $2.5 billion in sales. In 2021, he became the Chief Executive Officer at Thirdmark Capital. Ladner is actively involved in the community, serving on the boards of the Neighborhood Christian Center and the Kiwanis Club of Decatur.
