Governor Sununu

Governor Chris Sununu is the Republican Executive of the State of New Hampshire, having assumed office in 2017. Prior to his current position, Sununu served three terms as a New Hampshire Executive Councilor. A graduate in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), he also served as CEO of Waterville Valley Ski Resort. Sununu has been noted for his collaborative approach to leadership, and has tried to balance the interests of individual liberty, economic stability, and public health in his role as governor. His tenure has been marked by significant investments in infrastructure, education, and combating the opioid crisis. He is the son of former New Hampshire Governor and White House Chief of Staff, John H. Sununu.
