Government of ZImbabwe

The Government of Zimbabwe, officially known as the Republic of Zimbabwe, operates under a semi-presidential system. Its political structure is composed of an executive branch that includes both the president and prime minister, a bicameral parliament as the legislative body, and a judiciary system. The president serves as the head of state while the prime minister holds the position of the head of government. The legislative authority is vested in both the government and the two chambers of the parliament, namely, the House of Assembly and the Senate. The judiciary is independent, operating under the influence of both English Common law and Roman-Dutch law.
