Gobierno del Ecuador

The Gobierno del Ecuador, or the Government of Ecuador, operates as a democratic republic based in South America. It consists of three branches equal in power: the Executive, exercised by the President; the Legislative, represented by the National Assembly; and the Judicial, encompassing courts and tribunals at various levels. The President, who serves as both the head of state and head of government, holds the central administrative role, with assistance from his appointed cabinet. The government prioritizes the well-being of its citizens, promoting social equality, economic development, and environmental protection.
