Gobierno de la República Dominicana

The Gobierno de la República Dominicana, or the Government of the Dominican Republic, is a democratic and representative style of leadership which constitutes three branches – executive, legislative, and judicial. The President heads the executive branch and is the Chief of State and Head of Government. The legislative branch comprises two chambers, namely the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies, while the judicial branch is led by the Supreme Court. With a robust system of checks and balances, the government aims to promote the welfare of its citizens, uphold national sovereignty, and maintain political stability in accordance with democratic principles and the country's constitution.
