George Holding is an American politician who served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from 2013 to 2021. Born on April 17, 1968 in Raleigh, North Carolina, he is a member of the Republican Party. Before his role in Congress, he served as the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina, under President George W. Bush's administration. Holder is known for his conservative stance on fiscal and social issues, and is affiliated with the Tea Party movement.
