Fady Qaddoura is a Palestinian American politician and a prominent member of the Democratic Party. He made history as the first Arab Muslim lawmaker in Indiana after being elected to represent Senate District 30 in the 2020 general election, securing 52.5% of the vote. Qaddoura has an extensive academic background, holding a Doctorate in Philanthropy, Public Policy, and Public Health from Indiana University, along with a Master's in Nonprofit Management from the same institution. He also earned a Bachelor's and a Master's in Computer Science from the University of New Orleans, and a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Rice University. His career includes roles such as Policy Coordinator at the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, City Controller and CFO of Indianapolis, and Adjunct Professor at Indiana University.
