Eric Ciotti is a French politician, born on September 28, 1965, in Nice, France. He is a key member of the Republican political party. Initially, Ciotti served as an advisor to the mayor of Nice in 1988, followed by his roles as the President of the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes and as a municipal councilor from 2001 to 2017. He was elected as a Deputy in the French National Assembly in 2007, where he notably led his party's effort to ban the niqab in France. Eric Ciotti is known for his hardline stances on security issues and immigration.
