EMTU, Empresa Metropolitana de Transportes Urbanos de São Paulo, is the primary authority responsible for the management and regulation of the public transportation system in São Paulo, Brazil. As a state company affiliated with the Secretariat of Metropolitan Transport, their main objective is to provide top-tier, coordinated service to intermunicipal and urban passenger transport within the metropolitan regions of São Paulo, Campinas, Baixada Santista, Vale do Paraíba and Litoral Norte, and Sorocaba. From regulating fares to implementing new policies and systems, EMTU is committed to allowing for easy, safe, and efficient transportation for all of its riders.
