Debra Gelson is a distinguished legal professional with a robust background in law and education. She earned a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from the University of Rochester, followed by a Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law. Gelson has held various significant roles throughout her career, including serving as a Senior Assistant District Attorney and Bureau Chief of the Financial Crimes Unit at the Broome County District Attorney's Office. She has also worked as a Trial Attorney at Tully Rinckey PLLC and as an Arbitrator at FINRA. Her judicial experience includes serving as a Municipal Court Judge in multiple vicinages and as a Superior Court Judge in New Jersey. Gelson has also contributed to academia as an Assistant Professor of Law and Director of Graduate Programs at Georgian Court University, and as an Attorney/Senior Consultant at Initiatives for Excellence in Higher Education.
