Larry Dean Arp Jr. is an American politician and a dedicated member of the Republican Party. Since 2013, he has served as a Republican member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing the 69th district. Dean Arp's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from The Citadel and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His professional career is marked by significant roles in engineering, including positions as a Project Engineer at ODELL, Yates Starnes Engineering, and RTWA/Engineers, Inc. He also worked as an Assistant Engineer at Duke Energy Corporation and served as President and Engineer at Arp Engineering.
