David Alvarez is a multifaceted Canadian actor and dancer with a diverse career in entertainment and politics. He gained prominence as one of the original Billys in the Broadway production of "Billy Elliot the Musical," for which he won a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical, making him one of the youngest recipients of this honor. Alvarez trained with the American Ballet Theatre and played Bernardo in Steven Spielberg's 2021 adaptation of "West Side Story."
