Cindy Johnson is the current Mayor of Alpena, Michigan. She was appointed to the position in January 2024, following the resignation of former Mayor Matt Waligora. Initially, her term was set to last until the end of 2024, but she has since been elected to a full four-year term starting from January 1, 2025, and ending on December 31, 2029.
