Chrystia Freeland is a Canadian journalist and politician currently serving as Canada's Minister of Finance, and previously the country's Minister of Foreign Affairs. As a politician, she has been known for her roles in negotiating the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) and for her firm stance against Russia's annexation of Crimea.
