Caroline Simmons is a distinguished public servant with a robust background in both government and policy development. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Harvard University and a Master's degree in Middle East Studies from George Washington University. Simmons has held a variety of influential roles throughout her career, showcasing her expertise in policy and governance. She served as the Director of Special Projects in the Counterterrorism Coordinator's Office at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and was an intern at the U.S. Department of State's Middle East Partnership Initiative. Simmons has been a State Representative in the Connecticut House of Representatives and worked as a Special Assistant on the Obama-Biden Transition Team. She has also contributed her skills as a Senior Specialist for Policy Innovation and Impact at Elevate Policy Lab and as a Program Specialist at The Women's Business Development Council.
