Second Step In Abolishing Child Slavery & Carbon Emitting Deforestation in Palm Oil Farms

I request, no I Demand that the production of palm oil be free of child slavery and slash and burn . . . or illegal. As a youth of this generation, I want to hand down to my kids a cleaner earth than was handed down to me. I do not want my kids to know that every minute, 5 football field sized swaths of rainforest are burned to the ground due to palm oil. I do not want my kids to know that the reason their PB&J sandwich is creamy is that 25% of that peanut butter is made from an ingredient that drives orangutangs to extinction. I do not want the today's supermarket to be full of this cancerous ingredient, causing a health hazard to all that digest it. This petition is demanding that all products that use palm oil either 1: Find a replacement 2: Abolish slavery and slash and burn during the production and processing of their palm oil.  This is "step two" in helping take palm oil out of our products. As of January 1st, 2017, I have received almost two thousand signatures against palm oil in step one that demands that palm oil products list this clearly on all packaging. If you want to protect beautiful species that are on the brink of extinction, protect you and your family from harmful products in your food, stop child slavery, and help save our planet, this is one step towards that goal.

END THE DISRESPECT TOWARDS OUR COUNTRY, FLAG AND VETERANS!

In a world full of hate, politics and our crappy 40 hours a week jobs, we looked forward to watching the sport we loved; it was a mental escape from all that, even if it was just for a little bit, it was something we all look forward to, it was our mental reset switch. But now, when we turn on the game, we’re all greeted by politics and hate from Disrespectful Players, Coaches and Owners towards our flag and country, and its encouraged by the Commissioner of the NFL himself. The problem is, it’s not about the message they are protesting, it’s about the method of delivery. Kneeling while our National Anthem is playing is highly Disrespectful to our country, flag and veterans. As Americans and avid NFL Fans, we’re sick and tired of the political BULLSHIT, and the blatant Disrespect for our country, so therefore… WE THE UNDERSIGN HAVE MADE A PACT, AND WE WILL NO LONGER, FROM THE DAY SIGNED, WATCH ANOTHER SECOND OF NFL (OR ANY SPORT THAT CONDONES DISRESPECT TOWARDS THIS COUNTRY) UNTIL THE NFL ENDS THIS BLANTANT DISRESPECT TOWARDS OUR COUNTRY. WE WILL NO LONGER SUPPORT THE SPONSORS BY BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS AND(OR) SERVICES. WE WILL NO LONGER SUPPORT ANY BUSINESS/COMPANY THAT SUPPORTS HATRED TOWARDS OUR COUNTRY AND FLAG. IF WE ALREADY HAVE PRODUCTS AND(OR) SERVICES FROM THESE SPONSORS, WE WILL DISPOSE OF THOSE PRODUCT BY PUTTING THEM IN THE TRASH AND CANCELING SERVICES AND MOVING TO OTHER PROVIDERS. Force NFL Players to respect the practices of the country that provides their lifestyles

The people of the United States provide NFL Players exorbitant lifestyles to play a game for our entertainment and enjoyment. However, they have decided to use their workplace to wage protest against the very symbols and practices that are at the backbone of the system that allows them such excess simply to play a game. Ordinary citizens that did the same in their workplace would suffer disciplinary actions up to, and including, termination of their employment. These are the people that buy the tickets and merchandise that allow for NFL players to live lives of excess that make the lives of their supporters seem like those of mere peasants. We are calling for a boycott of all companies and their subsidiaries that support the NFL Players Association until the organization institutes and enforces policies to force players to stand for our national anthem and national observances as well as enact disciplinary actions that are strictly enforced for those that continue to violate the trust of the country that provides their lifestyle. The people of this effort recognize and respect the value of our rights to protest for the changes we seek in our world but also recognize that the players of the NFL are no different, or better, than the rest of the society they entertain by playing a game. We simply ask that they do it on their time. We seek an immediate and unrelenting boycott of the following companies that support the NFL Players Association with further action to follow if our demands are not met. Improve the Internet speed in the Philippines

Everything is relative and the few who can afford a Php20,000 monthly service fee for a 100Mbps fiber connection at home would tell you otherwise.   But when we see hard numbers across Asia and globally comparing the average internet speed of the Philippines with other countries, we always lag behind in numbers.   We’re not that ambitious to compare ourselves to the blazing fast connections of Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea but at least our numbers should be within the range of contemporaries such as Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia.   Two sources frequently publish reports about internet speeds. One is Ookla and its very popular SpeedTest website and the other is Akamai that has analytics on everyone that accesses their Content Delivery Network (CDN) mirroring popular sites like Google, Facebook, Yahoo and YouTube. There was a time when having an unlimited dial-up account at home is already a luxury. Having access to the internet, even at maximum speeds of only 54Kbps, was the most liberating and addicting as you get instant access to vast information and online services. It was also very expensive — about Php5,500 a month, and unless your job requires and can justify for it, your only other viable option is a Php50-an-hour session at a nearby internet cafe.
