Buffalo Common Council

The Buffalo Common Council is the legislative branch of the Buffalo, New York City Government. It is composed of nine members - one from each of the city's nine legislative districts. Each member serves a four-year term, elected during odd-numbered years. The council is responsible for passing local laws, resolutions, and ordinances, as well as approving the city's budget.
