Bruno Covas was a Brazilian politician and member of the Brazilian Social Democracy Party (PSDB). Born on April 7, 1980, he served as the Mayor of São Paulo from 2018 until his death in May 2021. Prior to his mayoral term, Covas held various political offices, including State Deputy, Federal Deputy, and State Secretary for the Environment in São Paulo. Throughout his political career, he was known for his commitment to social issues and his effort to improve living conditions in the largest city of Brazil. Unfortunately, his promising political career was cut short by a battle with cancer.
