Brian Jeffrey Mast is an American politician and military veteran, serving as the U.S. Representative for Florida's 21st congressional district since 2017, previously numbered as the 18th district prior to the 2020 redistricting cycle. The district encompasses parts of the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast. A member of the Republican Party, Mast has been re-elected multiple times, maintaining his position in the House of Representatives. He is a decorated U.S. Army veteran, having served as a bomb disposal expert. After his military career, he worked as an explosives specialist at the Department of Homeland Security. Academically, Mast holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Harvard University and a high school diploma from South Christian High School.
