Austin Davis is an influential American politician serving as the 35th Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, he made history as the first African American and the youngest person to hold this office in the United States. Before becoming lieutenant governor, Davis represented the 35th district in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2018 to 2022. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh. Davis's career includes significant roles such as Executive Assistant to Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald and serving on the inaugural transition team for County Executive-Elect Rich Fitzgerald.
