ANMAT

ANMAT, an acronym for Administración Nacional de Medicamentos, Alimentos y Tecnología Médica, is the national regulatory authority in Argentina responsible for controlling and supervising food, medical devices, and drugs. This body ensures that these products abide by the necessary safety, efficacy, and quality guidelines. They regulate everything from the manufacturing and import/export of these products to post-market surveillance and clinical investigations. ANMAT's primary goal is to protect and promote public health.
