Amy MacCuish is a pediatric nurse practitioner and a member of the Platte County R-3 School Board. She was first elected to the board from 2018 to 2021 and was re-elected in 2023. Her career in healthcare includes working as a pediatric nurse practitioner at Munson Army Health Center on Fort Leavenworth Military Post in Kansas. Previously, she worked part-time with Platte County Pediatrics. Amy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida and later obtained a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on child health from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is affiliated with Saint Luke's Health System and Centerpoint Medical Center.
