Alan M. Webber is an American entrepreneur, author, publisher, and politician, currently serving as the 43rd mayor of Santa Fe, New Mexico, a position he has held since 2018. A member of the Democratic Party, Webber has a rich background in journalism and entrepreneurship. He was the founding editor of Fast Company magazine, where he also served as a co-founding editor, and has been a managing editor and editorial director at the Harvard Business Review. His career in public service began as an administrative assistant in the Mayor's Office of the City of Portland. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Independent Study from Amherst College. Webber also ran as a gubernatorial candidate for New Mexico.
