Updating our street name to honor Nuestra Señora de la Paz's (or Mary's) name

Updating our street name to honor Nuestra Señora de la Paz's (or Mary's) name
The Issue
Changing the street name where I have lived for over 33 years.
I live on Paseo de la Conquistadora. La Conquistadora is the name of a wooden rendering of the Virgin Mary. It is believed the statue was carved in and comes out of Spain to the lands here.
It was carved sometime in the 1400s. It came to help the people wanting to live here in the 1600s and this rendering of Mary is considered the oldest rendering of her in the US.
Her names have been:
Our Lady of the Assumption, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, Our Lady of the Rosary, and La Conquistadora up until the archbishop Robert Sanchez in 1992, renamed her Nuestra Señora de la Paz—Our Lady of Peace—"as a gesture of reconciliation with the Native community" and in honoring her connection to peace and to the Catholic Church's commitment in our time, to peace.
I want to honor her and update, so to speak, her rightful name.
We have many families moving into our neighborhood with small children, the newest generation. To honor their lives with the wish for peace and stability ahead I believe Mary, Nuestra Señora , wishes for peace for all the children.
Ideally the signatories should be from my neighborhood. People that can use the street Paseo de la Conquistadora to go home. For sure they need to be from our District, District 1 of the City of Santa Fe, NM.
I will bring our signatures to our District 1 city councilor and from there we can see what is possible. I would like to bring this to her by mid-Fall 2025.
You can email me directly at: aliciadeamistad@aim.com with questions, etc.
I actually would appreciate an email with your district info. Especially if you live in her neighborhood between Camino Alire and Aqua Fria.
Kindly use Nuestra Señora in the the subject line so I see emails in relation to this petition.
