The ACT Government, officially known as the Australian Capital Territory Government, is the executive authority in the territory of the same name, located in the southeastern region of Australia. It's governed by the Australian Capital Territory (Self-Government) Act 1988, which provides a framework for its legislative and executive avenues. The residential affairs are managed under the guidance of a Chief Minister and a cabinet while its legislative power explodes through a seventeen-member Legislative Assembly. Public services ranging from education, health, transport to social services are provided to its residents effectively under its purview. The government also works intensively on ensuring sustainable environment along with economic development. It doesn't have judicial power which is managed by the federal Judiciary.
