We are beyond devastated to witness the death of such a young and beautiful soul taken at the hands of CCPD. Not only did Ma’Khia’s foster mother fail her but, the foster system and the people sworn to protect her failed to do so. We are calling for Nicholas Reardon to be removed from CCPD and charged with the murder of Ma’Khia Bryant as well as the arrest of the women involved and we request that they be charged with assault and battery. Our black children are being gunned down as if their lives don’t matter. We cannot stand this any longer. We need the protection and safety of black lives! We need change! We need movement! We need to be able to live! We are citizens and deserve the right to live without the constant fear for our lives. Please show little black girls and boys that their lives do matter, they are heard, and that we see them. Stand for us, and demand for the removal and arrest of Nicholas Reardon!
