Petition to End PSG's Sponsorship with "Visit Rwanda"

Petition to End PSG's Sponsorship with "Visit Rwanda"

Le problème

To the Management of Paris Saint-Germain Football Club,

We, the undersigned, are loyal fans and supporters of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) who believe in the club's values of integrity, respect, and responsibility. As such, we are deeply concerned about PSG's current sponsorship deal with Visit Rwanda.

While we understand the importance of strategic partnerships in advancing the club's growth and success, we believe that our association with Visit Rwanda requires reconsideration due to the political and human rights situation in Rwanda.

1. **Human Rights Concerns**: Rwanda has faced criticism from numerous international human rights organizations for its record on freedom of speech, political repression, and human rights abuses. Continuing a partnership with Visit Rwanda could be seen as tacit approval of these practices, which is contrary to the values PSG stands for.

2. **Reputation and Values**: PSG is not just a football club but a global brand that is admired and respected worldwide. Aligning with entities that have controversial reputations can damage the club's image and contradict the values of sportsmanship and respect that PSG promotes.

3. **Fan Concerns**: Many of us, as fans and supporters, feel uncomfortable with this sponsorship. We believe that PSG should seek partnerships that reflect its commitment to positive social impact and ethical responsibility.

We urge the management of PSG to reconsider and ultimately end the sponsorship deal with Visit Rwanda. Instead, we encourage the club to pursue partnerships with organizations that align more closely with the club's values and the expectations of its global fan base.

By signing this petition, we express our hope that PSG will lead by example, demonstrating its commitment to ethical and responsible partnerships in the world of sports.

Thank you for considering our concerns.

Sincerely,

PSG fans
