Bring back 'Mom' for season 9

Bring back 'Mom' for season 9
Il problema
To: Chuck Lorre, Warner Bros. Television, and CBS
For eight incredible seasons, "Mom" was much more than just a sitcom. It was a groundbreaking show that tackled addiction, recovery, relapse, and personal growth with an unparalleled blend of sharp humor and deep, authentic emotion. It wasn't just entertainment; it was a source of hope and a lifeline for millions of viewers worldwide.
When the show ended in 2021, it left a massive void in the hearts of its dedicated fanbase. While the Season 8 finale was a beautiful tribute to the power of the program, we believe that the stories of Bonnie Plunkett and her amazing circle of friends—Jill, Tammy, Wendy, and Marjorie—still have so many chapters left to be written.
Why we need a Season 9:
"Mom" provided a rare, honest, and non-judgmental look at the recovery community. It helped break the stigma surrounding addiction and showed that a life of sobriety can be full of laughter and joy.
In challenging times, "Mom" reminds us that people can change, families can heal, and no one has to walk through life alone.
We want to see Bonnie’s continued evolution, Tammy’s professional success, and the group's unwavering support for one another as they navigate new life challenges.
A Special Plea: Bringing Christy Home
We are also calling for the return of Anna Faris as Christy Plunkett. The heart of the show has always been the complex, hilarious, and deeply moving dynamic between Bonnie and Christy.
While we loved watching Bonnie grow in Season 8, the story feels incomplete without seeing Christy’s journey come full circle. We want to see her return as a successful lawyer, proving that recovery can lead to the fulfillment of one's greatest dreams. Anna, the fans miss you dearly—the Plunkett family needs its daughter back.
Our Request
We, the undersigned, urge Chuck Lorre, Warner Bros., and CBS to bring back the "Plunkett family" for a ninth season, a limited revival series, or a special reunion movie.
The coffee is still brewing, the meeting hasn't adjourned, and the fans aren't ready to say goodbye.
Please, give us one more season of laughter, tears, and hope.
