**Online petition - AB LPNs only**

Are you an LPN working for our biggest health care employer in Alberta, or in a private nursing home? If so, you are classified under "Auxiliary Nursing Care" (i.e. nurse's helper). 

Does it frustrate you that you are doing a nurse's work but not respected, recognized and acknowledged as a nurse? Would you like to? Then we invite you to sign this petition and share this with your fellow LPNs.

There're 2 parts to this petition:
1. This online petition that is only to be signed by LPNs who are currently under Auxiliary Nursing Care classification. This is to show the government how many of us want this change to happen.
2. The paper petition that can be found at the following link. Many other provinces across Canada already formally recognize LPNs as nurses, including B.C., Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
