Vaccines are a crucial topic that sparks debates around public health, community immunity, and individual freedoms. Recent global events have highlighted the importance of widespread vaccination in controlling infectious diseases and preventing outbreaks. Key issues and themes in petitions include promoting vaccination education, addressing vaccine misinformation, supporting mandatory vaccination policies, and ensuring equitable access to vaccines for all populations.
Notable petitions call for stronger vaccine mandates in schools to protect children from preventable diseases, while others advocate for increasing vaccination rates in underserved communities. The push for accurate information dissemination and combatting anti-vaccine myths is also a prominent theme in many petitions.
Take action by supporting petitions that promote vaccination awareness and accessibility. Your involvement can contribute to building a healthier and safer world for everyone. Sign the petitions and join the movement for universal immunization.
I am 74 years old and immunocompromised with PMR.
My husband is nearly 80 and is immunocompromised as well. We have faithfully requested vaccines - Covid, RSV, flu and others anytime they have been available. We firmly believe we are alive today because of the vaccines. We believe in science - not pseudoscience - and are outraged at the research that has been halted, the scientists that have been fired and the indifference of those in power to support the programs that keep us healthy.
My health and life depend on timely availability of vaccines- especially COVID and flu vaccines at my age! Please continue research, manufacture, and availability of these and more for everyone who wants them to help keep their health.
I am immunocompromised and I take each vaccine update as soon as released. Delaying life saving vaccines is incompetence at best and criminal at worst.
I am a midwife in a hospital. I saw what COVID could do in pregnancy, including death. If there is a medical reason for this that is not opinion but is fact based, share it. Otherwise, compromised lung volume in pregnancy caused by a growing uterus makes respiratory infection high risk, and all people during their pregnancy should get the vaccine if possible.
I have long questioned the logic of giving my 4 lb dog the same dosage of vaccine that a 100+ lb dog gets. I stopped giving them to her and she lived to be 19. I am not going tp premedicate my animal because they cannot be touched for days after vaccines or in one, couldn't walk for 2 days. There is something awfully wrong when you cannot even pick up your little girl because she hurts too bad from vaccines that are supposed to help.
I live in NY state and was told by my vet that even if I paid for a titer test to check that my dog still has immunity from his previous vaccines, I was legally obligated to give my dog another rabies vaccine because the state “doesn’t recognize titers”. So a dog who already has immunity and is still producing the antibodies and forced to have another injection that he doesn’t need. There is no reason for this. It’s glaringly obvious that it’s not really about the welfare of the pet, it’s all about lining the pockets of big pharmaceutical corporations who push these. We need to do the right thing by our pets who are innocent and be the voice for the voiceless
autism speaks is harmful to all autistic people. autism isn't a disease. there's nothing about them that need to be 'fixed'. they're human, just like us.
