As a Vietnamese American and a member of the United States military, I am deeply concerned by the derogatory and disrespectful rhetoric that has been directed toward Vietnamese refugees and members of the Vietnamese American community.
Many Vietnamese “boat people” endured persecution, imprisonment, dangerous sea journeys, separation from their families, and tremendous personal sacrifice in their search for freedom. Referring to these refugees in degrading terms, including comparing them to “dogs,” is offensive and dismissive of the suffering experienced by an entire generation of Vietnamese people.
I also strongly object to repeated sweeping and misleading portrayals of life in the United States. America is not a perfect country, and reasonable people may criticize its government, tax system, workplaces, or social conditions. Freedom of speech protects the right to express those opinions. However, criticism should be based on facts and expressed responsibly, particularly when addressing a large public audience. Personal dissatisfaction should not be presented as an accurate description of life for all Americans.
Likewise, anyone is free to express views about Vietnam or its political system, but promoting one political ideology does not justify insulting Vietnamese refugees or belittling the country that provided generations of Vietnamese families with an opportunity to rebuild their lives in freedom.
My military service has given me an especially strong appreciation for the freedoms that allow people in the United States to speak openly—even when others strongly disagree with them. With that freedom also comes personal responsibility and accountability for the way we treat other people.
I am signing this petition not to silence legitimate opinions or political discussion, but to call for basic respect, factual responsibility, and civility. I respectfully ask Ms. Tran to stop using degrading language toward Vietnamese refugees, to refrain from making misleading generalizations about Americans and life in the United States, and to engage with those who disagree with her in a respectful and constructive manner.

As a child sexual assault survivor, I was horrified. The program should be shut down and Musk sanctioned heavily for this gross misuse and abuse of his toy. When it rightly called Musk a Nazi, change happened astonishingly quick. There is no reason the reaction here shouldn't be as swift and resolute.

I’m in college, along with all of my friends, and I’m one of the only people in our group who has verified their age through ID (mainly out of my own naivety, I wish I had not given my ID to this god-awful corporation). I am correctly marked as 21+, but my friends, who are the same age as me, keep in mind, did the age check themselves when we went out together one day and were all incorrectly marked, with some being classified as anywhere from 12 down to 9 years old. We are all above twenty years of age.
This is incredibly concerning to me and only highlights how completely incompetent both Persona and Roblox are. If people in their twenties can be incorrectly marked as children, who’s to say predators can’t be incorrectly marked as well? Roblox is putting its players in danger and, in the process, killing its player base. And the fact that other people need to give their PERSONAL information out to correct this mistake is insane to me. I demand a complete overhaul of this system and the removal of AI from age verification entirely. We do not need adults being misclassified as children, or vice versa.

I cannot overstate the amount of time, energy, mental and emotional fortitude I have sunk into this dream.
My dream was to create a tightly-moderated D&D-inspired roleplay space where I could essentially DM for all ages and provide a meaningful and semi-educational social experience for mixed demographics.
Every aspect of this dream dies with this update. Besides the obvious that any meaningful roleplay community will vanish if age groups are segregated, moderation is impossible if I cannot tell what anyone even two years younger than me is saying. Taking on a DM/GM role is absolutely out of the question.
This entire concept was something that could only be achieved on Roblox. I thought that I was so lucky as a broke dev to be creating for an engine that accounted for technology, server space, and even marketing to an extent, and above all else so accessible to the demographics I felt would benefit from my game the most.

I’d love to come in and scoop them up and take them home with me, but I know that’s not logical. I’ve watched this little boy be ignored and abused in so many different ways emotionally mentally physically all of it. The saddest part of all is that the people who are in charge of helping this little boy are not doing their jobs and they’re not protecting this little boy they’re not protecting him at all. They have so much evidence and I do not know what the problem is. We need to do better. We need to listen when somebody says something like they’re supposed to. See something say something they need to also listen to something and do something.

These children do not even understand the ramifications from having digital footprint that they gave zero permission to! The fact that these children will grow up and see their faces or life story all over the internet is so sad and it needs to be stopped! There is a 5 yr old in Florida being exploited all over the internet because of his mother and sadly her digital footprint is tied to his and he has no say so in the matter and it's all in the name of financial gain that is clearly not being put to use for his current needs such as a sensory room or even towards his future education and any future therapy he most certainly will need after seeing what his mom has put all over the internet. This also applies to many other children being exploited for financial gain at the expense of their future livelihood.

Since then, Roblox has done nothing and the owner of the account who groomed me is still very active. I wish I had the support from Roblox when I was too afraid to tell my parents. These petitions are a significant step toward making the game safer for younger generations, helping to break the cycle of children becoming victims.
