Kadance’s kindness was not just a trait but a mission. She gave freely, loved deeply, and dedicated herself to making the world a better place. Through her service, her advocacy, and her ever-present smile, she left an imprint on every heart she met. The warmth she brought to others will never fade, and the love she poured into this world will continue to ripple outward, inspiring all of us - even those like me, who never had the blessing of knowing her in person - to live with greater generosity and purpose.
Renaming the park in Kadance’s honor and legacy is a no brainer - Be EXTRAORDINARY! never ever just extra ordinary
Kadance has been a guiding voice and a source of comfort for children navigating difficult times. Twin Hills Park serves as a vital meeting place for many families during supervised visitations and co-parenting exchanges. Renaming the park in her honor would be a meaningful tribute, reflecting the warmth, support, and stability she has provided to so many.
Kadance not only impacted the Okaloosa county community, but also communities all over the world. If anyone deserves something to be named after them it is definitely Kadance. Her whole mission was to help children get out of the situations they were in and what better way to recognize it by naming the community park after her. She always put others before herself and truly embodies a selfless person. Kadance Deserves this recognition.
In the short time I got to know Kadance during the weekend of the Miss Florida Teen USA pageant in 2023, she demonstrated everything a young woman should ever strive to be. My very first impression of her was in the lobby of the hotel the contestants were staying at. I was very new to pageantry and felt so lost, but Kadance and her wonderful mom were always so welcoming and the first to invite my mom and I to their table during the events. Despite being sick and even losing her voice the day of competition, her resilience and determination allowed her to earn 3rd Runner-up! Through the entire weekend, she did nothing but support the other contestants and bring a positive attitude to the whole group of young women. She was a leader, outspoken, kind, compassionate, and a beautiful soul. Kadance was truly a remarkable person in every way and to leave such an impact in only a few days speaks to her outstanding character. To name the park in her honor would not only be in remembrance of Kadance, but it would allow generations of citizens and visitors to learn her story and inspire many with her exemplary and extraordinary character. Kadance was a model citizen in every way and deserves to be remembered by all.
