However, PLEASE stop and consider why, as Brits, (and many of us are parents ourselves) who still vividly remember Meredith's horrific murder and court case circus, and can only imagine the lifelong grief that Meredith's brave and dignified family and friends endure every single day, we're all so devastated that you would even consider that performance of this nature is acceptable. I believe you've already had books published giving your side of the story, so please show some moral fibre and do the decent thing as an adult, and mother of a daughter yourself, and show the respect for Meredith you claim you have, by cancelling your show. Thank you.

Even the coroner stated this in his summary. So to have anyone think they can make fun of a person that has been MURDERED begs belief. My heart ❤️ goes out to her family and friends.

This would also make room in our prisons for serious crimes like violent crimes and assaults with weapons. As I was raped and had my throat cut many years ago now by an ex partner and he was released after three and a half years of his five years sentence after my wish was for him to serve his full sentence, they asked me what I would prefer but still released him.

I have experienced this kind of trauma enough times to know that there are plenty of men out there not scared whatsoever to commit this offence. The effects it has had on my mental health, and in turn my physical health and nervous system is enormous. It changes your whole life in so many different ways. If they've chosen to commit this horrid offence, then why should they be released early. In my opinion, they don't get long enough as it is. The trauma it induces is a life sentence itself.

This sends a message to boys and men that they can do whatever they want to girls and women without consequence. It also sends a message to girls and women that there is no point looking for justice as we don’t matter. Also saying one male had ADHD and didn’t know what he was doing is offensive to all neurodivergent people and is complete nonsense. Absolutely disgusting.
