Not having INXS in the RRHF is a travesty. INXS harnessed the power of Rock, Funk, RnB, Post-Punk, New Wave, and Dance to create their own powerful, unique, and successful sound. Their lyrics harkened back to poets from generations prior, with a dose of sensuality and inward reflection and hopefulness. Few other groups had/have the power and energy INXS had on the live stage. And no other band had Michael Hutchence as their front man. Hutchence walked that fine line between rebel, poet, singer, lover, and shaman. Hutchence once said that Rock n Roll meant "Freedom" for himself. He showed us young men, through his singing, lyrics, and performances, that we too could be free. INXS' music is as fresh now as when it was first released. They are a major part of the soundtrack to my life and they live in the consciousness of millions of other fans. INXS in the RRHoF!

Like I posted below, I have been enormously touched by the music of this band and the lyrics of this band. The SOUL of this band. I am no longer a young person but I might say middle aged one. ha! I continue to find enjoyment, inspiration and a sense of nostalgia of the life I had when I was growing up listening to INXS. Hutch and the band's music continue to bring a LIGHT to ME and the world which needs it so much! Why on earth are they not acknowledged for this absolute inspiration and fun and brilliant lyrics and music yet? Please give them the well-earned recognition they worked so hard to be immortalized for. All I can say as a FAN who still listens to their music in my adult life, they will FOREVER ROCK ON IN MY LIFE!!!! Whether this "Organization" puts them in their "club" INXS will ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART AND MY LIFE!!!!
