This issue needs an open investigation as well as additional oversight. It makes no sense that a stranger has been given authority over her rather than her family members, especially her son, niece or sister

I worked as a Psych nurse with locked doors, meds forced on patients, saw severe permanant irreversible side effects like constant drooling, tardative disconesia, eyes rolled in back or top of heads etc.. This is a free country and until a person is a danger to self or others holding locked, no phone, visitors s unlawful. This will cause mental issues. Wendy is of sound mind, alert at this time needs to be released immediately. This is sinful and against the law. Let her go before you destroy her!!! Frances Reed

I care about humanity. Wendy Williams is an iconic figure in America. What’s more important is that she’s a human being who deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Wendy Williams is competent and able to voice her concerns with this guardianship and she’s unhappy with how she is being cared for or the lack there of. Wendy Williams should be granted the same rights, privileges, and freedom as all Americans. Wendy also has competent family members that love, care, and wants to be there for her, so I feel that one of her family members such as her adult son or niece should be granted guardianship if the state of New York feels she “needs” a guardian.

This woman is not allowed to be with her family or even receive calls from family. She is being held in a invisible prison. This is a clear abuse of power. This is WRONG! #FreeWendyWilliams

This is important not only to save restore the dignity of Wendy Williams, an American national treasure, but to trigger change in a system, so that no one else has to suffer.

For any judge to declare someone incompetent without the proper vetting is unacceptable! She has family & she should have had the choice to either let her family take care of her as opposed to this stranger Sabrina. Passing a mental capacity test only further perpetuates the fact that this media powerhouse should have never been locked up in a mental ward as her problem was not mental!

I have always loved Wendy and have followed her career and life through her own books and stories. I am incredibly sad at seeing her not as she used to be. By her own admittance she has used substances, and we know these can have lasting physical and mental effects, even when they are not used anymore. However, if she does have physical and mental effects due to this past use, she deserves to be cared for properly by her loved ones and by medical care of her choice. I have read a lot about this and listened to The Breakfast Club shows and nowhere does it state where or who Sabrina Morriessy is and where she has come from in regards to having any say in Wendy’s life, either in a personal or professional capacity. I truly wish Wendy well and I hope to hear her voice and her opinions again soon. Having listened to the recent The Breakfast Club podcasts I am hopeful that this will happen if she can be in a safe and loving space to be the best she can be. Always love to you Wendy and until then I will watch the old shows on YouTube.

Back in 2005 I thought the hip hop community hated gay people like me. I avoided urban radio and culture because I saw it as a threat to my existence. Then one day a friend turned me on to the Wendy Williams show on a station in Hartford CT. I heard her say “How you doin?” and my mind was blown. She was the only one sticking up for us in hip hop. I will never forget that. She showed up for me then. I’m showing up for her now. #FreeWendy

I have always been inspired by Wendy’s Story. She fought hard for her success and endured a lot from her miscarriages, Graves Disease and awful husband who took so much away from her. It breaks my heart that she is locked up in a luxury prison being given an assortment of unknown pills that are likely numbing her up and forcing her to seem mentally ill when she is perfectly fine to be independent. The fact that she cannot leave her apartment, see her family, has no access to the internet, only given $15 allowance, cannot make a trip to see her dying father in Florida shows that she is being neglected. Her guardian needs to be held accountable for abuse, neglect and fraud!!!!!!
