we must retain our public transport infrastructure as much as we can for those who have no other option. i know people that i would never have met if not for our train lines and bus routes and you best be damned i’ll fight for them
Nox supported: Railway Line North of Armidale under threat from two Councils in New EnglandI am a student at the uni with my entire family living in Brisbane, and it's just not feasible for me to drive up to see them as much as I'd like to. It's a 7 hour drive with the car I have, and as a newish driver (green p's) I absolutely hate doing it on my own. I cannot afford a plane ticket, and I cannot afford to fall asleep behind the wheel.

The Pacific Highway has become an absolute horror as far as accidents are concerned. The so called "bike trail" is a disgrace. I haven't seen any studies on exactly how many "cyclists" use it any more, if any. I for one have never used it. The money that was spent on that trail should have gone to the upkeep of the rail. The amount of lost business to the locals as well as to the tourists has been unaccountable. Fight for all you can because once it's gone, you won't get it back, ever.
